Our story begins at Louisiana State University in February 2017. After several set-up attempts during inopportune times, we crossed paths while at Tigerland in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Conversation flowed endlessly and easily. We found ourselves already making plans to see one another the next day. Endless days and nights were spent getting to know one another, learning each other’s goals, aspirations, quirks, commonalities, as well as differences. Things felt right- our personalities and mentalities aligned so unbelievably well. Proceeding graduation, we found ourselves in a long-distance relationship- visiting each other every chance we had, exchanging our first “I love you” while waiting for the train at Union Station, and after several months, both together again, living in Colorado. After three and a half years together, we got engaged on Lanikai Beach in Oahu, Hawaii at sunrise. Thus, starting the next chapter of our incredible life together.
